New Chevy Colorado vs. 2017 Ridgeline in San Antonio

New cars are on the road, and Fernandez Honda has our eye on one in particular – the 2017 Ridgeline in San Antonio! When it comes to other truck competitors like the new Chevy Colorado, the capabilities of the Ridgeline truly override the performance of competition. This truck is special for several reasons and we’re excited to tell you more about it! Follow along as we tell you all about the new and redesigned Ridgeline!

The Ridgeline has way more technology and comfort offerings. The Ridgeling RTL-E has memory seats that activate different, customized positions for the driver. But memory seats aren’t the only feature that the Colorado doesn’t offer, it’s the one-touch power windows, the push-start button, dual-zone AC, standard adaptive cruise control, standard Bluetooth wireless (Bluetooth costs extra on the Colorado), an in-bed trunk, a 115-volt electrical outlet, and rear AC vents (a must in Texas). With all of these features combined, you’ll be significantly more comfortable in the Ridgeline.

The Honda truck’s 280 horsepower V6 engine is refreshing as it’s quite a bit faster than it’s predecessor. The Chevy truck on the other hand touts only 200 horsepower and has the acceleration more of a mid-size care than SUV. Speaking of SUVs, the Ridgeline has the cabin-feel of the SUV being wider and favoring its cousin, the Honda Pilot. This is great news for those of you who plan to cart the family around in the new truck! The new Colorado is slightly larger than previous generations, but still feels narrow and cramped.

The 2017 Ridgeline in San Antonio is takes more safety measures than does the Colorado. The Ridgeline (RTL-E/Black Edition) has standard Collision Mitigation Braking System, which warns the driver of a potential collision and will automatically brake if the driver doesn’t react to alert. The Colorado offers a warning system, but not the automated braking feature that could potentially reduce the collision. The Ridgeline also offers a cross-path warning system and a 3D high-strength frame that surrounds the passenger compartment that provides extra impact protection.

Sold on the Ridgeline? We thought you might be – there’s yet to be a truck to compare to the power and performance of the new 2017 Ridgeline in San Antonio! You’re in luck because we’ve got plenty in stock, so stop by Fernandez Honda today for a test drive today, we are waiting for you!
